Why This Must Be Read: I've been on a Prometheus kick for the last week or so, and was beyond thrilled when I realized that Yahtzee had written something for this fandom. Not only is Yahtzee a near-legend in fan fiction (for good reason), but she really shines with this piece -- a long, satisfying look at Elizabeth and David, alone together in the black, and how they grow closer when David begins malfunctioning after Elizabeth reassembles him. But even though David realizes he is not functioning normally, he finds that he doesn't want to fix it. Long, lovely, just an all-around great read. And also scorching hot.
