Why This Must Be Read: Everything Sin writes is excellent, which is why when she took on this pairing I gave it a chance. I was never a huge Uhura/Kirk fan, I preferred Uhura with Spock from the time that I was a little girl and was so happy when the ninth movie came out and them being a couple became canon. But then I read this story. I tell you, I fell in love with this pairing. Not only is the fic beautifully written, it makes the possibility of this couple make sense. By the end I was rooting for them and as a shipper I never looked back.

The characterisations are perfect, the story-line is believable, and the romance is drawn out. Love this one,the author really explores the power dynamics at play between Darcy and Loki.
