Two for the price of one! The first fic, A Moment of Dying, deal with Carolyn and Riddick, the second with Ellen and Hicks, and the series blends the two verses in a very cool and realistic way.

Still, I've read this fic on and off since it was published in 2001. I just love it?! It's so much fun! It's like a college AU but isn't! It funny and sweet and just really fun to read. The girls and the guys act like such college kids and omg the dialogue! I don't if I'd called it the best fic I've ever read but it's one I keep going back to and smiling over.

This give Jo and Dean a happier, and definitely healthier ending to what the show would have ever done. The end of this fic links to others which I also recommend because it's a short series of individual fics in the same setting and they're all pretty great.
