Why This Must Be Read: What an excellent rewrite of the show post season three. It takes all of the elements of the show, shakes them up, and presents them in a familiar but refreshing way in which the character really shine. It explores Jack and Irina, specifically, in with such grace and careful handling of each character and how they have affected each other and Sydney's life by the choices they've made. Also it fixes (IMHO) the end of Rambaldi's prophecy in a way that everyone gets to shine.

Why This Must Be Read: Okay this is more of a Ziva character piece than an outright ship fic but it's interesting and good that I'm sticking it in. (Don't worry, I have a back up.) It takes Ziva and puts her in Atlantis and takes her away from Team Gibbs. Which… is difficult for all involved, at first. Especially Ziva and Tony who've held themselves in a stasis with regards to their relationship. It's definitely a Ziva story, the ship almost tertiary, but when you get to it it's worth it.

Why This Must Be Read: Blanket statement: Little Sammy write TOP NOTCH Ziva/Tony fic. I recommend you check them out if you still want more fic for them after this (or you want another fic to read about them). Yes, Tony is a slave in this fic, but I found that the author handled the situation very well. The slavery aspect of the fic is not romanticised but it is also not treated foolishly. The author clearly understood how this and worked at writing a full formed, realistic, but respectful piece of fiction. It's so rare to read AUs in this fandom and this one is excellent built and well done.

Why This Must Be Read: Dealing with the aftermath of Sarah losing her memories and not getting back after the kiss (which I, personally, think is what happened). Sarah is now Sam again and she can't believe this is her life because Sarah grew and changed a lot in those years with Chuck and now she's back at the beginning and doesn't like it one bit. What's so good about this fic is that it's not a magical fix it fic. Love just doesn't happen because you tell someone it did, it has to be earned and returned within it's own time. Also I love how brittle and hard Sam is.
