FYI to the 12 & under crowd:
Angst, hurt/comfort, poisoning, possible kidney failure, death of a parent, kissing, & sibling estrangement issues qualify for at least a PG rating.

I've edited my post to change the rating, but fyi, the author had rated it as G story, and yes, I had followed what she said.

FWIW Pocahontas has all/almost all of the above, and that has a G rating. JUST SAYING.

The MPAA rates movies based on $$$, not based on a consistent set of guidelines.
