Last night, I was just about to fall asleep and I suddenly remembered this manifesto--it was posted during the time when LJ wouldn't let me post ANYTHING, so the comment I tried to leave then got sucked into the cyber ether never to see the light of day.

Except, that I remembered it last night. I wanted to say then, and still want to say now, that despite my differences with Shonda Rimes and the direction this show went, Izzie is one of my all-time favorite female characters, and this manifesto does justice to her awesomeness. Randomly, I caught Alex and Izzie's wedding yesterday on a rerun on the Lifetime channel, which was not a rerun for me because I'd quit the show by then--and while that was sweet, my favorite part of the episode was the moment when I realized she'd been talking to Denny the whole time--and then she asks him to leave so she can have some alone time with her husband. Oh, Izzie. You're the bomb.

So, anyway, sorry such a late comment...
