Why This Must Be Read: First of all, cicatrice means new tissue that forms over a wound and later contracts into a scar. Just the title alone has so many meanings--remember, Ray is the victim of a tragic accident that took both of his legs from about the mid-thigh down. It's simply gorgeous and addresses all of the crap between these two characters all the while depicting their great love for one another. A treasured gem, and a must read.
