Why This Must Be Read: I’m a sucker for a good soulmark fic and this one is perfectly suited for the LoTR universe. I love that Eowyn’s internal struggle isn’t necessarily influenced or made better by her soulmark, that she still has to come to terms with herself. The prose is lovely and Faramir is his steady and wonderful best.
