Why This Must Be Read: Matt gets seriously injured and loses his abilities. He calls Claire. What I loved about this story was how Claire tries to care for Matt's injuries while keeping her distance emotionally. It works about as well as you think it would. It is a well written story, with these little intimate moments that are so lovely.

Why This Must Be Read: What intrigued be about this fic was this author's note (If you're looking for a sex pollen fic without any actual sex, then this is probably the fic for you.) Basically Matt gets dosed and ends up at Claire's who tries to help. What I loved about this story was both Matt and Claire's pov and how they are both trying to be so careful with each other throughout the whole ordeal. The way the story progresses is just so in sync with who they are. It is very well written and through look at who Matt and Claire are in canon.
