Why This Must Be Read: This is a modern day retelling of Devil’s Cub, a book I would have guessed would be quite difficult to modernize, but this fic pulls it off effortlessly. It is so delightful and smart, with just the right wry, dry, witty tone - if you’re a Heyer’s fan, this one is a must read.
