Why This Must Be Read: Who doesn't love a good dæmon fic, where the animal manifestations of characters' inner selves run around and heighten the action and emotions at hand? This one is so artfully done-the author really considers what each person's dæmon would be, and what Peggy's wolf and the others' dæmons mean, both about them as individuals and to how people percieve them. The story proceeds more or less in line with MCU canon, but this fusion element adds so much color to Peggy and her relationships with Steve, Jarvis, the guys at the SSR, Angie, and more. (And for Peggy/Sousa shippers, this fic is the first in a longer series that veers in that direction!)
