Aww, I'm so pleased you liked it and found it useful! It is really difficult to find any non Harry/Ruth shippage, but if you dig deep, there are some gems about, especially almost anything from spooky_doings. Sadly, in some cases, the fic here is the only one. I love Ruth/Harry like anything, but I do like the odd bit of multi-shipping in my fic sometimes. (Especially Ruth/Tom. I was actually gutted to find that the longest Ruth/Tom fic out there is mine!) I think there were once a couple of Spooks archives that no longer exist, so that may have robbed us of some early stuff.

I only just found the notification for this in my old email. First off, great manifesto!!! Second off, thanks for rec'ing my fic :) Third off, great to see some of my favourites also here. Zulu Ottawa's is one of the best fic's I have EVER read in any fandom.

PS: I totally wrote the first two chapters of Ruth/Eleven fic back in the day.

PPS: I totally also wrote a really fucked up Dmitri/Ruth fic once where he was the traitor of s9.

PPPS: And one which was Ruth getting over Harry post George and finding someone else :)

I knew I'd miss some stuff (although of course, others are just trying to vary the ships and authors recced) - AO3 is fine as long as people are tagging, but Spooky Doings & ff.net vary a lot and pairings aren't always obvious, so it's inevitable.

This is an awesome manifesto - I've never know much about this show, and this has definitely piqued my interest. On the to-watch list it goes!

Cool! One thing I didn't think to link to here, but should have done, is the marvellous overview that oceloty did for crack_van a while back. It's funny, a great summary of the series and surprisingly non-spoilery for a Spooks overview, so if you want to get a better idea before you leap in, it's there. :-)

It is one of my favourite shows, but it's aging now, and not for everyone. As you can tell, I love Ruth and Nicola Walker, though. She's great.
