Revolution had a big cast, big budget and big themes: it's no surprise it has spawned many novel-length stories exploring the social and political challenges of the Blackout world. Here are three epic fics set in the canon or post-canon world:
Fandom: Revolution

Why This Must Be Read: Revolution is a world which lends itself to epic fic, but this is the granddaddy of them all. Picking up immediately post Monroe's supposed execution, this doorstop of a fic luxuriates in all of the details of the post-Blackout world, domestic life with the Mathesons and their cadre, and the fight against enemies known and unknown. Superb.

Why This Must Be Read: While many Revolution writers avoid the Nano storyline as much as possible, Whynot jumps right in to craft a post-canon tale of a battle happening on multiple fronts, internal and external. For Bass Monroe, it's an unexpected, impossible bond with Charlie Matheson that turns out to be the only thing that can tether him to reality.
And that's 29 fics across 10 fandoms, one for every day of the 29 days of February, 2016. I hope there will be something for everyone there, and thanks to het-reccers for letting me play :D
