Why This Must Be Read: What I wouldn’t give for this to be the show? Time has passed and things have settled down, but there’s still danger all over the place. This takes the show in a fantastic direction, adding a slightly supernatural angle to things. The writing is amazing and the characters are so true to the show. Slight warning, there is some main character death, but it takes place prior to the story starting.

Why This Must Be Read: Oh, if only this is the direction the show went during season four. It’s funny, tense, well-written, and just plain amazing. The characterization is spot on and the romance between Beth and Daryl feels so natural and wonderful. It’s a realistic slow-burn that pays off in such a great way.

Why This Must Be Read: This is another mid-season four diverge story and it’s fantastic. It takes the characters down two different potential routes and it’s fascinating. Beth is front and center and she’s kicking butt and taking names in both potential worlds. Her journeys are intense and believable and her romance(s) with Daryl are so fulfilling and lovely to read.
