Yeah, I don't think the neighbor thing will end well by any means -- I mean, just wait until his brother Billy finds out -- and neither did In the Bedroom, for that matter (<-- understatement!). But I can see it having some short term positives for Tim, just because of the attendant externalities of acting like a grown-up (cleaning her rain gutters, putting the kid to bed, etc.). But he's Tim Riggins and he's been screwed up from day 1, so it'll go both up and down before it's all over.

I think Lyla is really interesting as an idea of a character, someone who has a very carefully established image but who keeps acting against it in various ways: cheating, and now this. I was surprised by her response, but I can see where it comes from: Jason's essentially told her he doesn't think he wants to marry her anymore, and she sees that as being a result of his suspected infidelity which was a result of her infidelity which may be tracked back to her own father's predilections, plus factor in the 17 year old spoiled girl thing and, yah. I can see where it comes from. Her whole world is crumbling right now.

But the actress hasn't yet delivered for me, I think.

I actually think Tami handled that Angela conversation rather badly. (g) I mean, she was in a veritable minefield and you could totally tell that Angela knew what she was getting at and was not-so-secretly hating the whole conversation and couldn't wait to either rip Tami's head off or get the hell out of there. I thought it was a great contrast to the way Tami's often able to manage people so effortlessly, including Tyra herself.

And yes! Julie keeping it secret was very good. I really love that family.
