Fandom is finally calling yourself a writer.
The implications of that statement are vast. Creative women owning their creations, claiming their art and their power, saying "Yes, I am." Rising above self-doubt, self-denial, insecurity and really doing the work, and loving it.
And also: people who can't spell, can't punctuate, and can't form a coherent sentence; people whose characterizations bear no resemblance to the people onscreen; people who disgorge florid nonsense all over the screen -- they are calling themselves writers, too. (:
