new recs LJ
Happy belated birthdays to coffee_and_ink and kita0610!

I did a crazy thing and moved all of my fanfic recommendations to an LJ: field_reports (named such because I often feel as though my excursions into fanfic are like safaris into crocodile- and lion-infested wilderness, and my recs are my...well, my field reports back to y'all).
I did this because Notepad and Wordpad keep doing wonky things to my HTML files, such as losing crucial spaces between words in a highly annoying fashion. This has discouraged me from doing recs updates, such that I haven't actually done one since June. Also, the more recs I pile up to do, the less I want to actually do the update. At least this way LJ preserves my spaces and I can recommend one or a few stories at a time (since each rec will be its own entry) thereby taking a lot of the pressure off.
I could have been making recs in my own journal this whole time, but I like having a separate and systematized place for this kind of thing.
Please feel free to friend that journal to keep abreast of updates. Also so I can believe people are actually bothering to read them.
