Well, that was an interesting ride.
First, Ed was going for an interview that he was really, really looking forward to, because it was a supervisory position. But when he got there, he was let down by the job they offered him. It was just a cashier position, for less than he makes now. But they "promise" that at the end of the summer, he would become the supervisor. But he's a tad gun shy about promises like that, since the last job he had promised the same thing, but lied.
Then, I went out to disperse "missing cat" flyers, because our cat had been missing for three days. As soon as I got home, I found out that a woman had already called, to tell us that our cat had been hit by a car, the night he went missing, and didn't make it. So, there was much crying and general unhappiness in the house.
And then the phone rang, and I went to answer it in the bedroom. It was a woman, from A.O. Fox in Oneonta, to tell me that I GOT THE JOB!!! It's 37 hours a week, and a bit over $10/hr! My shift is 3pm to 11pm, which is exactly what I wanted, and I start on the 13!!!
So, there you have it. Thats the emotional ride my husband and I went on today.
