Crochet pattern links & photos of stuff I have made

I thought it might be a good idea to post links to some crochet patterns I've used since learning to crochet, as I started as a total beginner and have since managed to teach two other people (more to come hopefully) so I have a good idea of what to rec.

A few times I've failed to take a photo of something and only realised once I've given it away, so some of these are just links.

The first thing I made - and the one I always recommend as a starter project - was this bunny:

It is a really nice, simple pattern to make up and is a good confidence booster as a first project because it looks super cute when you've finished.

I don't have a picture of this one but I made one of these baby toys and it looked amazing:

I've also made a few of these big head animal things, which are also simple and cute:

I made two of these owls as Christmas presents, and this is the SIMPLEST of patterns. Just hdc the whole way through. I'm planning on making myself one as a cushion :D

I made one each of these with a rattle insert for my baby second cousins (twins):

I made this little bird for my other baby second cousin (with a jangle insert) from this pattern:

Aaaand finally on the toy side of things I made this bunny for my younger niece for Christmas:

Now the original pattern is here: lilleliis.com/free-patterns/funny-bunny/ and as you can see from the photos there it is possible to make this bunny look a lot more cheerful than I did (ahem). However my niece did not seem to mind that the bunny turned out all pensive so it's all fine.

I have also made three blankets on a granny square theme, but as one of them was a granny rectangle here is a link to the pattern anyway:

crochetagain.com/2012/06/27/a-better-granny-rectangle/

One of them was a plain expanding granny square pattern, one was the rectangle mentioned above and the third was a bunch of small granny squares sewn together and then I expanded around the edges (I like making life difficult for myself - I only managed to finish that one on Christmas Eve ffs)

I actually did not realise I had made this many things. Go me, frankly :D.

ETA: am idiot, forgot to mention the excellent www.planetjune.com/shop/ where you can buy many animal crochet patterns including DINOSAURS. So I bought some patterns and have so far made these:

Worth spending the money :)

(I also have some little bunny patterns from this site I want to make at some point soon)
