(no subject)
Ok, so, a few things about last night even though nobody on my flist is watching:
1. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah right, 75% of the Lyell Centre staff (and all of the pathologist ones! Leaving Clarissa there isn’t going to get PMs done, is it?) just fuck off to Afghanistan and that’s ok. Pffft.
2. So Jack - a man introduced as the kind of person who likes a bit of bare knuckle boxing or cage fighting or MMA or whatever it was (can’t remember) thinks that squaddies are massively violent and some are little more than animals? I get that he prefers his violence in short bouts or whatever but the dude’s hardly a pacifist.
3. Following on from that, couldn’t his problem with the British Army have been something to do with him being Northern Irish? (I checked this in case I’d got the accent wrong, because I am shit at accents) Even if Nikki and Leo would have left it alone, it’s not like Shaun had any particular positive feelings towards Jack anyway. Or am I just barking up the wrong tree?
4. Oh, Nikki. I love your inability to let things drop and walk away. It will probably actually get you killed one day.
5. Cliffhanger: am presuming this is a fake out as per the Harry one a while ago, mainly because if it is not then that teaser trailer was REALLY fucking annoying.
