You know that thing where as a woman you feel like you have to be polite when asking for stuff because if you try to get away with stuff like guys do, you get thought of as a bitch, but if you are polite and ask for things like a woman is supposed to, you get overlooked?
Yeah.
Ha.
*fumes*
girlofprey, have you seen this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdkHP2BP5dM Last week’s Emmerdale: Carl and Eve continued their affair and I continued to hate them both, there was a funeral, Faye and Jay broke up (with those names? Shame!), Sam admitted to Maisie he had the wallet, Cain admitted he sent the flowers etc and got paid off, but refused to go to the police, everyone decided Nathan had killed Mark and Natasha was being forced to go along with it, and Natasha kept blaming Nathan for everything that was going wrong, even though none of it would have happened if she hadn’t shot her husband.
Other recent happenings: Hazel is made of win, I still don’t like Faye, Andy and Adele broke up and Katie tried to convince him to go for anger management, Holly is on drugs and got chucked out, Hannah has a boyfriend, Aaron and Jackson are on a very long holiday (lucky bastards), Leyla is having a bad time of it, and Nicola and Jimmy are just about managing to run the pub. Also Rhona might have feelings for Paddy, but I really hope she just gets over it and they don’t have an affair because that would suck.
Monday
Nathan keeps trying to apologise to Maisie for…something (presumably the funeral/phone/everything) but she won’t talk to him.
Leyla keeps sneaking off.
Natasha tries to talk to Maisie, because Nathan told her that she went to see Ryan. Natasha also knows that she saw Cain but Maisie says he didn’t want anything.
Declan, for some reason, does not think Natasha’s involved. I kind of love how people are wandering around with this ‘poor innocent Natasha’ mood when they didn’t before all this…
Hazel’s doing an art class, and she tries to get Viv to come (using flattery). Hazel and Viv are yay.
Maisie wants to confront Nathan and Natasha, but Declan says no.
“Let’s be sure before we accuse anybody.”
“I am.”
“You really are smitten, aren’t you?”
Declan, seriously: if you are, your taste in women is terrible.
“Do you know how it feels to be scared of your own family? To be in the same room as someone who murdered your father?”
Ahahaha, oh, Maisie, you’re so screwed.
“We just have to wait. One of them will make a mistake.”
Leyla talks to her BIL. I really want to know what it is she’s supposed to have done. And then David arrives! And sees Leyla hugging her BIL :(
Katie makes Andy go to his anger management thing.
Nikhil wants Maisie to move in with him so she’s away from it all, but she says she has to stay to find proof.
Leyla tells David who the guy is, and they argue, but she won’t tell him what she did because it’ll make her look at him differently.
Tuesday’s ep:
Leyla and David keep arguing.
Nathan tries to talk to Maisie and be nice to her (oh Nathan, how screwed up are you?) but she’s not having any of it.
Viv and Bob both go to the art class *g* Later on, Hazel gets Viv to chuck out a LOT of old clothes.
Scarlett and Eve go into town to drum up business for whatever their business is, and they see Holly. They try to talk to her but she just asks for money.
Katie has photographic evidence of Ryan wearing the chain!
Nathan tries to talk to Maisie again, but he’s laying it on a bit thick now. And she shows him the picture! Agh.
“Drop the act, Nathan. Ryan didn’t kill Dad, you did!”
Maisie accuses Nathan and Natasha won’t really defend him :(
Bob tells Andy to ask Adele out if he still likes her, and not just sit there glaring. Oh, wait, that last bit was me.
Isaac (Holly’s BF) comes to dinner at the Bartons and it’s all very awkward, but then Scarlett comes round and tells them she saw Holly.
David keeps trying to get Leyla to tell him the big secret. This had better be good.
Natasha tells Maisie Nathan didn’t do it, but in a really ineffectual way.
“I might be a lot of things, but I’m not a killer.”
Oh, Nathan :(
Maisie says she’s leaving.
