I’m not affected by what I see on TV, honest!
More notes, this time made in blunt pencil, so let’s see if I can work out wtf I was on about:
Nathan was actually working today!
Jai tried to talk to Nikhil about Amber (WHO IS THE GIRL FROM CHER’S BELIEVE VIDEO) but she appears and Nikhil - unsurprisingly - is pretty upset.
Declan tries to talk to Natasha, who also gets upset, because the strain of murdering your husband then hiding the body and pretending he left and then telling your son and having him leave and then come back and then getting him involved in covering it up - while lying to him about it being an accident when it’s murder - and then between the two of you deciding to blame your husband’s ex - well, it gets to a girl, you know? So she’s crying and then Nathan interrupts - and for once manages not to insult Declan - but it’s too late.
Amber says her husband - the guy she left Nikhil for - cheated on her.
Nicola said she was going to resign if people kept shouting at her, but when she wanted to work for Jimmy, Edna threatened to resign.
Amber wants to get back with Nihkhil, but he tells her to leave. Predictably, she is horrible.
Declan asks Natasha what’s going on. Personally I’m interested to see his reaction when everything comes out, should be hilarious, especially as he doesn’t seem able to believe it has nothing to do with him. Oh, and she tells him she doesn’t want a relationship but he doesn’t believe her (nice).
Maisie goes round to talk to Nikhil and she’s all happy and talking about how they should just give it a go, and then because this is a soap, Amber appears half-dressed and Maisie has a go at Nikhil and drives off. Nikhil chucks Amber out, and thus ends that pointless and soap-by-numbers plot diversion (I hope).
Also, Holby was good (hahahaha, Ric’s principles made an appearance, OH RIC HOW SO ACE) but I didn’t make any notes as I was ironing. Spence annoys the hell out of me (you cheated on your wife throughout your whole fucking marriage, I don’t think you get to be the one setting terms now, you bastard), and there was no Penny or Frida. Jac was ace, however, and they need to do more with her and Sacha, because it actually works pretty well.
I saw a bit of Mitchell and Webb (and had a Lion bar today, see title, it was YUM), and did indeed see Open The Box on Please Remain Indoors. If we play the game, they’ll come back with food.

I mostly watched The Bill for Callum, who has some massive problem with his dad (did his dad hit him? Can’t remember if it’s ever been onscreen) and wouldn't stay to talk to him while he's dying in hospital (I have a suspicion the hospital was Blackheath). I REALLY need to finish some fic. However I have waited around for SO LONG that there is a fic from months ago I could adapt with just a little effort, haha. We’ll see.
Oh, also, back on Monday, Rev was good again, and Hugh Bonneville was in it.
