All over the place
Fwaa. I've spent the last couple of weeks on and off clearing stuff out of the house that I no longer want/need and moving stuff around to accommodate some much-needed double glazing installation. It's been a lot of tiring, kinda stressy work.
The guys are here now and they seem to be working really well but man, I could throttle the big faceless company - they said it would take one day, which surprised me in the beginning seeing as it seems like such a big job - but when the guys got here this morning they happened to say they'd be doing one bit tomorrow. Ummm...tomorrow? Stupid company, they'd written 'one day' on one part of their work sheet and 'one day' on another part of the sheet. Even I know what one plus one makes. Grrr! *shakes fist at double glazing magnates*
So tomorrow I'll have to sit around again, not knowing what to do with myself and not being able to go out. Harrumph. But it is my birthday all the same, the queen will just have to reign from the living room sofa. *winks*
