oh fuck, i'm watching CNN right now and they just showed footage of a massive tsunami-caused slide just wiping out...everything in its way in Sendai. oh god, they're replaying it. jesus fuck. i can't even.
will keep an eye out for anything we can do to help Sendai, Miyagi, and other affected areas.
aftershocks were felt in Beijing, but luckily Shenzhen is far away enough that our coastal region hasn't been placed on tsunami alert. slightly worried about Taiwan, though. i'll be contacting family there, just in case.
[update]: waves just reached the coastal area near Jiangsu and Shanghai.
