Hmmmm...that would be interesting to see how you explore this verse.

Especially if, say, Sixshot gets his claws into the medic again. Or even if you take another twist into the whole series, and change a few things. Like say the Decepticons actually win or overthrow the Autobots...Myself I've only considered the idea because I *heart* MegatronxOptimus Prime, and after a particular comic book image from the IDW collection (right before Megatron punches a hole in Optimus' spark when they're in...Russia or whatever cold country it is...)...*melts into goo*

Funnily enough, as much of a tendency I have for pairing Ratchet with just about anyone, even after reading the novel, this particular pairing never really crossed my mind. I ,uh, also have this strange weakness for wanting to write different, odd and/or rare pairings.

Pfft...You're talking to the girl who considers almost every pairing imaginable, especially with Perceptor (and I can not forget Red Alert or Optimus Prime). The scientist is one of my all-time faves, and I'm frequently thinking of ways I can pair and abus...I mean, experiment with him....XD

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out how that particular little reunion would go. So far, none of it's real pretty. If the Decepticons actually won or overthrew the Autobots and took some as prisoners, oh boy. O_____o What about the Terrorcons? How would they react to Ratchet? They certainly wouldn't like it that Sixshot's attention was focused more on an Autobot than on them. Especially an Autobot who is also a medic.

*ponders* What about the other way 'round, though? With the Autobots winning and capturing the 'Cons, including Sixshot. It'd certainly be interesting to see how the 'Bots would deal with their prisoners. Especially if one of Ratchet's friends decided to pay back Sixshot for what he did, since I think Ratchet wouldn't really be much into the revenge thing.

While I don't mind Megatron x Optimus (most of the popular pairing I'm pretty much 'meh' about), if I were to write that AU, Prime would most likely be the first to die, right there during the battle that turned the tides in the 'Cons favor. Then again, I'm of the camp that says they really didn't need to revive Optimus in the comics since the 'Bots need to find their own way for once. *shrugs* But that's just me. Still, there's some things like the aforementioned picture that make it impossible to not like those pairings. *guh*

I'm on the fence with Perceptor. One minute I love him, the next I can't stand him. And I'm not entirely sure why. Another tendency I have is to mash pairings together. Blurr x Drift x Perceptor y/n?

I like both of your ideas with Ratchet and Sixshot. I'm all for twisting the universe about, so the idea of Sixshot 'playing' with his favorite mech gives me pleasant shudders. But also the plot idea for the Autobots winning is equally intriquing. Blast it all...

It's odd, I'll usually avoid the normal pairings, but throw in a third partner and I'm all over that thing. Jazz x Prowl does very little for me, but put Optimus in it, and I'll happily read the fic. I'm seriously considering doing a open fic request using either one, or all, of the prompts from the different 30 themes communities, like say 30_reflections or 30_quests, there's even a challenge comm just for threesomes. So, you may have your wish. I already have a scene floating round my head, too. Drift's sneaking up on Perceptor who's standing guard all by himself somewhere and wraps his arms around the microscope from behind. Perceptor gets a little irritated at Drift trying to give him little kisses all alongside his face. Then Blurr enters the scene, being his cocky little self and wondering why he's being left out. Drift then goes over to rib Blurr in a friendly manner, and the two start sniping at each other like an old married couple. Perceptor is glad that they can't see his face as he tries to smother a fond little grin at his two lovers antics. Which they totally know about the smile since that's why they're doing what they're doing. Now, I just need dialogue to go with it.

Another point in the Autobot's winning is what with the fact that with the 'Bots winning, Megatron would be Prime's prisoner. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. I could always do both at the same time, as a sort of parallel experiment. It'd certainly be interesting seeing what would be happening to two parallel dimensions at the same time. Be a lot of work and possibly end up in something like drabble form, but it'd be fun.
