I realised that I have not updated ever since I came back from Melbourne, though there are a few mishaps here and there(of how my mum dropped her phone when the train was moving, but found it in the end; of how I was affected by my mother's panic mode and left my keys and uni card at the airport), I guess I did enjoy Melbourne.
Now that I am back in Adelaide, I am responsible to bring my mum and her friend around Adelaide. Had great fun drinking wine, and go to places where I had visited last year, good nice weather,occasionally sunny and the rain wasn't that bad.
My house now has 7 people, which surprisingly wasnt that bad, even though my ex-housemate turned roomate kept complaining.Kiran will be back soon, and that means there will be 8 people.I never had so many women in my life;) ; staying in a house together, quite harmoniously.
I saw something disturbing today though.As I was trying to cross the road, I witness a bird on the other end, trying to do the same thing too.A car came when it was trying to do so, but instead of following the normal bird instinct to fly away, it stopped itself in front of the car tyre, and then it got crushed under the tire. The sound was really deafening.and then i realised; I just witness the death of an animal in front of me, and it had chose to die of its own accord.I don't know why,but it somehow made me reflect about life.Animals are driven by the natural instinct to survive as long as possible. But this bird chose to end its own life. Maybe this bird realise the futility of its life; to be born, escape predators,mate, have little birdies that contained its own DNA, and then die.
A couple more days and uni starts, and I don't know whether I am looking forward to it or not.
