my something turned out to be a "mere" cold.
i put mere in quotation marks because sometimes i think i'd
rather have something much worse. something that i could actually take
medicine for and be over with in a few days.

my colds usually overstay their welcome for an extra week or so.
hmm i will have to get used to having to sleep upright over the
next few nights so as not to drown.

i need good cold remedies as i'm feeling quite pathetic.
like someone who would be willing to go to panera.
to pick me up some hot santa fe roasted corn soup and a baguette.

with a smile.
