answering machine
I voted last tuesday. I do not think it is fair that I should still get automated election messages (or even non automated ones) because I have already voted. So today I left this on my answering machine.
"Greetings. This is our answering machine speaking, please leave a message and we will get back to you. Unless you are one of those angry, gun-toting war mongering right wing political nuts who has called to tell me Obama is evil incarnate. If you are one of those, be aware that I have already voted, and you are too late, so stop calling. And by the way, if you are one of those tree huggin' soybean eating leftist wacko liberals who has called to tell me that McCain is going to bring on the apocolypse, same to you. Don't call here. I already voted. In fact, it is in your best interests to never call here again. I usually vote for the people who bother me the least."
