You'll be the death of me
OMFG! So the reason I've been so stressed has been cause I'm afraid that I'm going to be at a No-Show party for my baby shower. For my 11th birthday, no one showed up so I have a large fear of rejection when it comes to parties. And reading an article on Babycenter about all these no-shows at baby showers..
I've also been getting some people asking me when the shower is, what time, all this stuff that I know is on the invite and I know the invites went out. It's been freaking me out when people text me 'Hey, shouldn't you be having your baby shower soon? When is it?' and I know they were on the invite list.
Apparently not all the invites went out. Mother-In-Law ran out of invites and skipped some people. Then never intended on getting more invites to send the rest out. She isn't sure who she skipped though now so I have no clue who I should just personally invite. I do however know that the godparents were skipped. Unfortunately they can't make it now. She also says that people haven't RSVP'ed yet, she's gotten two no's and one yes. This is out of 60+ people.
UGH! And my own family has said nothing on the matter of gifts, if they are coming or anything. My Mom can't make it I know for sure and she's sending money and my old baby stuff. My Dad? No clue.
PEOPLE, you freak me out!
And then the questions about where I am registered, I have a feeling that registry cards were not inserted in the invites. And people are having issues finding the links to them in my notes on my FB page.
