So, still spotting away over here. Not like the hospital incident, much lighter. But I keep encountering more random pregnancy woes. Like to accompany my occular migraines, I know get a numbness in my hand and in my face. This is apparently common in pregnancies with women that have the same type of migraine that I do. So no major problem there. Aside from having to wait for my tongue to have feeling again before eating. I did however have to go back to the doctor the other day because I called out of work due to vomiting. Yes, I know, I'm on drugs to stop that. You know, the same kind of drugs they give to people on chemo. Well.. I managed to throw them up.
I threw up my anti-nausea/anti-vomiting drugs.
Yeah. Not cool. So no work for me and Jay stayed home to make sure I was alright. And then he got a text from one of the bosses saying that we needed a doctors note. So thus, being later at night, my doctor wasn't in. Jay attempted to get a note from the doctor we saw at the hospital that stated I was supposed to rest when I wasn't feeling well or I would cause undue amounts of stress. But alas, no luck there. We did eventually get in to see my doctor at the clinic.
Now, the clinic I go to is supposed to rotate doctors so it's sort of luck of the draw. By luck of the draw, I've gotten the same doctor three times now. She's a nice older Asian lady who I thank the gods she's got small hands as she shoves them up inside of me to check on stuff. Granted, she still gave me quite the cramp but whatever. She checked on stuff, told me to eat really, really small amounts of food every hour. That way, if I throw up, at least there's a chance that some food stays in me. And I really need to take my Zofran regularly. She also wrote me a note for work and asked me what I did there. She heard that I do stretch and band a lot and shook her head. All that activity right now has put me 'At Risk' according to her since I said i did note a slight increase in the spotting at work and just after work. So now I'm on two weeks of bed rest. She also gave Jay strict instructions to keep doing what he's doing, namely, all the housework, kitty litter, etc. But he's also to do the shopping. I am not allowed to push a shopping cart. At all. She means for me to stay home, seated or reclining most of the time in my chair, on my couch, in my bed. I can move about the house but not much more than that.
It's fine and all, but of course cue my computer to take a shit on me. one of the cables inside of it has crapped out, thus my Lightscribe drive and my d:/ drive are 'missing' from the registry. Once I replace the cable, all should be well again, but until then, I can't listen to music, write, look at or organize my photos.. that's all on my d:/ drive. I also can't burn cds or dvds, not that I have anything on here right now to actually burn.
And since there is only so much Farmville a person can play in a day, I took out my loom knitting again. I finally finished a scarf that has been on the loom for over a year. And then started another one. Strangely enough I did not fall asleep while knitting like I usually do and managed to get nearly three feet done while watching Dexter and 2 Broke Girls. I am contemplating perhaps selling some handmade scarves as the rate I can make them seems to be quite fast. I'm going to have to start picking up more yarn at Big Lots.
