Zany weekend is Zany!

Ok, let's see if I can get all my thoughts in order for once.. Friday I got up at my usual 7:30am so that I could take my mum and uncle all over creation to shop. Turns out I didn't need to get up so early but anyways.. I did end up getting a new leather jacket. I need to get a good picture of it but it's a bit reminiscent of Dom's leather jacket. YUM!

Headed off to work a long shift at the crap job, then headed home to gather up all the girls for a night out. Picked up my Man of Honor on the way and he accosted my neighbor to come with us up to Paradise to see the drag show and have a fun bachelorette party. My mum went, along with Jay's, and we also had Summer along as well too. Packing six people into a Jeep is fun, two in front and four in back. We were wedged tight in there. John played dress-up with me and got me all sexyfied for the night. Apparently it was good cause after the drag show I was pulled every which way over the dance floor by the gay boys.

If you've never been to a gay club there is one thing you should know. Gay men are fascinated with boobs. If you've got them, they are just going to love you and I seem to be a target for the occasional grope. I really don't mind, it's a good laugh. Thankfully I missed that on Friday, mum would have gone nuts. Though I was getting dragged around pretty regularly and some dance partners were a little more handsy than others.

Closed Paradise down and and then headed back to Toms River for our trip to the diner which is a good way to refuel a bit before heading home. I got myself some banana pancakes which I only managed to eat half of. Got home around 4:30am and finally crashed out in bed at 5am.

Alarm went off at 7:30am but I laid there for 30 minutes, then nodded off again for 30 minutes, woke up and ran screaming from the house as I had to go get my dress from the seamstress and I was going to be late. I was surprisingly not all that tired so I was happy at that. After picking up my dress I had to do some more running around, ordered my flowers, got more stuff we needed for the wedding that we kept forgetting, got a cake topper. Jay won the argument of getting a Precious Moments one. Eh, whatever.

Headed off to work at the bookstore for a rare nighttime shift there. I was so off kilter by it I didn't know what to do with myself. Add to the fact we were having a sidewalk sale in the mall where the bookstore is located made for an interesting night. Even had one guy hit on me a bit and offer to buy me a book. Since my knee started acting up and wouldn't bend, I convinced the boss lady to let me just guard the books outside the shop. So I did just that, all the while texting labmama  and teasing her.

Got home finally around 10:20pm and was confused to find Summer's car in my driveway. And then I remembered that we were having a bonfire. So I had planned on just relaxing but se la vie, it was not to be had. Ran around like a nut getting food together and helping build the fire and making a makeshift marshmellow stick out of a broom and a turkey lifter. Had a blast of course, Jay bought me my favorite, Birch Beer. Sort of like Root Beer but different. Had some marshmellows and then sat and watched the fire and chatted. Headed back into the house after it started to rain and all of the sudden I felt woozy much like how I get when I'm about to have a seizure. So I did the sensible thing and sat down right where I was and after a  minute or so everyone realized I was on the floor. Then began the mad scramble of them getting me water, a cold cloth and making sure I wasn't having an allergic reaction to something.how fun. I was mostly out of it, too woozy to really wave people off but I pretty much passed out when I did get into bed around 2am.

Woke up this morning at 7:30am without the alarm aside from the one my bladder was ringing. Felt like I had gotten hit by a truck but I wasn't sleepy anymore so up I got. Had some more running around to do and had to get my eyebrows done. Mum and I both had tears in our eyes, it hurts no matter how they do it, but the threading certainly is an interesting way of doing it.

Headed off to work where I dragged ass for awhile and was generally confused. I'm seriously so frazzled lately it's a wonder that I can form a coherent thought. I did however have a wonderful conversation with Sean. He plays drums as well as bass guitar (and lead guitar) but we started chatting about music. In particular, basslines of Muse songs. Yum. It was fun though cause he doesn't remember the names of the songs so he would drum out the drum section and humm the bassline and I'd name the song for him.

So here I am, caught of for now and about to delve into the scads of fics on MS. Good lord people, it's like Christmas, you all updated at once!

Ooo, perhaps tomorrow we might take a trip to Philly!

crazy house, lack of sleep, too much going on at once, wedding
