Gravity never let me down (gently)

I got a phone call from Oz...it sounded like there was something really, really wrong but he didn't want to talk about it...and he can't see me tonight like he'd planned to. He got his keys back last week and he was going to come over today.

Initially I was just...really irritated that I couldn't see him after I'd been looking forward to it for a few days, since I haven't seen him outside of school since New Year's day, which has been...annoying, to say the least. But then he called back and it sounded like something was really wrong. I didn't know what to do...because he didn't want to specify about what it was, and I didn't know what to talk about...or what I could say to make him feel better...I was gonna tell him about last night, but I didn't think talking about Adventures at Trav's Apartment was really gonna do much. But we're talking online now, and he seems better.

Yeah, yesterday I was chillin' at Subway while Jamie and Matt worked. Ashley and I were sitting in the back when without warning Jamie's manager came in. O___o She fliiped. I mean, she was irate. She kicked us out of the store entirely. I'm afraid to go back in there, now. O_o

So I left without grabbing my jacket (or the Discworld book Jamie lent me), and Ashley and I walked to Chef Charles'. Jessie was there working. =D I ordered some steak fries so I wouldn't look quite so loitery, and then we took off for Matt's house...he came and picked us up after he got sent home early. -__- Poor Matt. I guess it didn't help that he wasn't wearing his "full uniform" when she showed up (he was wearing my black pinstripe hat, and I was wearing his Subway hat...Jamie was wearing a cowboy hat). So yeah. I dunno. We went to Matt's after that. And watched Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. =D Ashley hadn't seen the first half before, so...XD

Then Matt gave me a bottle of Bawls. Apparently he's selling them...I didn't know this! I'll have to keep that in mind. We finally headed out to Trav's. It ended up being me, Lindsey, Aaron, Anthony, Jamie, Trav, Suchy, and Suchy's friend...I don't remember his name, but he really liked Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha, and the original Japanese versions, at that! ^___^ w00t. I'm definitely on the subbed end of the SUB/DUB wars...I should wear anime shirts more often; it helps me find my friends X|...We walked to Border's and the guy serving coffee saw the FMA shirt I was wearing (which happened to be Jamie's). So we started talking about different anime, Trigun, Wolf's Rain, Hellsing...good times. Anime swag is like radar for other otaku to find you..some girl I'd never seen before stopped in the hall to give me kudos on my FMA bag.

Then when we got back to Trav's Lindsey was wrapped in paper towels and yellow caution tape from head to toe. O__o Also, I finally got to meet Rufus! X| So cute...*lurve* And we made a community pot of ramen...and I didn't have any chopsticks on me. So I used coffee stir-sticks, coz Trav and Suchy have a ton of those, in various colors. =D Matt and Jamie were saying something about collapsable chopsticks...that would be convenient.

Oddly enough, Aaron and I were both wearing camo pants yesterday. So we decided to trade. Or rather, he proposed we trade pants and I agreed. We were both wearing red underwear, too! =D Great minds think alike and whatnot. Yeah...>_<()

We didn't even watch Army Of Darkness. We watched Baseketball, which I wasn't paying much attention to, there was just too much going on. Then when we left we stopped at Meijer, because apparently Matt and/or Lindsey wanted oreo pie. And Jamie made Ant buy her special ramen...for about 3 or four bucks. XD Nice, Jamie. She did feel bad about it later though. But being really sick tends to give your mind a certain drive toward survival that disregards all else. And ramen=survival.

What sucks is that I made sure that today was clear for Oz, said no to the other things I'd been invited to...*le sigh* I feel bad for saying no now. At least yesterday was fun. =D But now today feels like Sunday, and it feels a lot later than it is. Maybe because I'm used to being busy/gone on Saturday nights.

pants, weekend, ramen, subway, chopsticks, anime
