St. Patricks Day
I'm still not sure what drinking has to do with St. Patricks Day but I'm not asking questions. It was a good night all in all. I ducked out of work about a half an hour early and took the train straight up into Poughkeepsie. I then took about 100 yard walk over to Mahoneys where WRRV was holding a Green Day contest. I met up with a few people and had a generally good time. At one point I noticed one of the bouncers (I knew he was a bouncer because his chest looked like a walking bill board) walking nearby. For those of you who don't know I'm a tall guy and I still had to look up at this bouncer. This was intimidating to begin with but when I looked I saw that he was one of those guys with crazy eyes. If I were causing trouble this would make me shit my pants.
Afterwards I went to Noahs and met up with even more friends. Hung out, had some shots, and drank good (cheap) beer. Noahs had an extended Happy Hour and it was good. Afterwards Steve & Cora took us to the Wornock (?) for some live Jazz/Blues. Good times. Gotta get back to work
