I, Nerd

I was part of a support team (of 2) earlier today and overheard a conversation. The basics of the discussion was between two guys and their thoughts of the movie "I, Robot". Now, I thourhoughly enjoyed the movie, partly becuase I turned a blind eye to the shamless advertising, and thought it was good for what it was. These two didn't think so. One even went as far to say that he heard the book by Asimov was much different and it tried to tell the story through a robots perspective. I wanted to turn to him a yell, "WTF about the CG main character?". Instead I helped out a user and saved my Nerd rage for LJ.
It was also at that point that I realized I can be a real nerd sometimes. Which, as we all know, is great. And for the record I think that the movie used the 3 laws of Asimov pretty damn well especially for a movie that was supposed to be a summer Blockbuster.

On a complete other side note I didn't fall asleep, for once, on the train this morning and I got my creative juices flowing. Then the conductor politely asked me to put the creative juices away because it was rather lewd and I was scaring the other passangers. So I wait until I am alone for the juices to flow once again...cratively.
