[light laugh]

Doctor McCoy introduced himself as Bones? I find that a little hard to believe.

I haven't met him yet, Kirk addressed him by that name when I was talking to him about some of curse varieties one day.

Word of the wise- stick to Doctor McCoy when you do speak with him.

I try to be.

Alright, Uhura it is then. Has anyone explained the situation you're in now or sent you a guide?

Which is more than a lot of guys can boast.

Yes- two guides, as a matter of fact. And members of the Enterprise crew have contacted me.

Well I'm only ten and there's room for some general idiocy to slip through as I get older.

That's good, an arrival in a strange place is generally better when there are people that you know in the area.

Only some, I hope.

Generally, though a lot depends on the nature of the people you know.

Well if I turn out anything like when I'm cursed to be mentally and physically older than I am, then it all balances out. Somewhat.

Point well taken.

That's what matters, in the end-- you know, I don't think you ever gave me your name.

It's Huey Freeman.

Well met, Huey.

Now tell me, what other types of curses have you been subjected to?

Reply

Voice; child_radical May 27 2009, 05:27:15 UTC
I've been subjected to curses that make me tell the truth twice, another which made me speak my thoughts out loud, one where I wish I made was not what I intended, had my personality switched around, murdered, and recently subjected to acting like a life-or-death game of capture the flag was serious business, amongst the others that I can't really recall at this moment.
