read thru
Tonight, I got to see a read through of a one-act play I wrote. Not an actual production, but it was still cool. I took third in a contest (125 entries, I heard, but I'm not sure I believe it). The first place winner's mom and Grandpa talked to me for a long time before it started, and then my play got a decent number of laughs, even though there were no props. Then someone came up to me and told me that my play was better than the second place. Kick ass!
