I know, right? You wouldn't believe how much stuff you can find at garage sales for WAY cheaper than it's worth. Some people just aren't into eBay, I guess. Hey, their loss is my gain!!
I hate the Vault thing. Disney needs to get with it--with the Internet, you can buy anything at any time--so they're basically losing money by not always having these DVDs available. What about people like you and me who grew up with these movies and want them for our kids? That's a HUGE market that they're neglecting.
BatB is special to me because it was the first movie I ever saw in the theatre--and even though I was three years old, I STILL remember it. But when the Special Ed. DVD came out, my family was still in the stone ages and didn't have a DVD player, so we didn't buy it. I've been looking for that DVD going on about 4 years now.
I have no idea why we haven't bought Toy Story--everyone in my family loves it. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think they put Pixar movies in the Vault (with the exception of Toy Story and A Bug's Life). But to be safe, you should nab them while you can :D
