Location: The break room of Hiatus Publishing, Delaney and Kaya's place of employment
Benjamin: Hey Kaya.
Kaya: Oh, hi Benjamin. How’s it going?
Benjamin: Good. You?
Kaya: Good. Nothing changes much in reception.
Benjamin: Figures.
Kaya: So…have you talked to Delaney yet?
Benjamin: Well…no.
Kaya: Why not?!?
Benjamin: I just haven’t got around to it yet.
Kaya: You haven’t got the nerve, you mean.
Benjamin: You live with Delaney! You don’t know! She’s frightening!
Kaya: *teasing* And yet, you still have a crush on her.
Benjamin: God, Kaya, this isn’t the seventh grade.
Kaya: What are you waiting for? Just ask her out! She hasn’t been on a date forever!
Benjamin: Fine! Jesus, Kaya, pushy much?
Kaya: What, me? Never.
*Benjamin leaves*
Kaya: Oh, hello Miss Blake. Yes, I’ll be there in a moment.
Location: The office Alyssa Blake, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine
Kaya: You needed something, Miss Blake?
Miss Blake: Yes, sit down Kaya.
Miss Blake: Kaya, I didn’t know you wrote.
Kaya: Well, I had to get that journalism degree somehow.
Miss Blake: *ignoring her* Kaya, I’d like to offer you a job as a staff writer.
Kaya: What?
Kaya: Wow, I’m flattered. But…how did you get my resume?
Miss Blake: It was in my inbox yesterday morning. Why do you ask?
Kaya: Oh, no reason. Just wondering.
Miss Blake: Well, then, do you accept my offer?
Kaya: *hesistates* Yes, thank you.
Miss Blake: Then let’s shake on it.
Location: Josie and Gideon's Apartment
Josie: No, no, out of my house!
Jana: Wait, just hear me out!
Josie: You have ten minutes. I’m timing you.
Jana: I got a job.
Josie: OH MY GOD! IT’S A MIRACLE!!!
Josie: Wait, who hired you? You have no useful skills.
Jana: I got a job as an au pair.
Josie: *explodes into laughter*
Jana: What’s so funny?!?
Josie: The thought of you taking care of little children.
Jana: *shifting uncomfortably* Well...the girl I’m watching is 12.
Josie: *explodes into laughter again*
Jana: Whatever, Josie.
Josie: Oh my God, I have GOT to call Mia!!!
Jana: I hate you.

Okay, I LOVE Benjamin, I really do :D And yeah, Alyssa, my Last Kiss Blythe had to make a guest appearance. I only have a finite number of dolls! I had to use what I have! I already have plans for the two other B's to make appearances as well. And I know Alyssa looks SUPER pale here, but LK is, like, the palest Blythe and Sacagewea is the second darkest pullip. You do the math.
And since I don't have space to make up an office set, I just used my bookcase as rooms in the Publishing Company. Delaney's office is probably going to be on another shelf :D
One last thing...I'm saving all the chapters of All The Constellations to Memories, just so I'll have an archive of sorts :D So if you miss a chapter somehow, just check the memories, they're all there!
In other dolly news, Elfdoll releases their Baby Alice tomorrow :D She's only 8cm tall! I've seen the prototypes, and I don't know if I want one, even though the girl baby is super cute :) I think a lot of it will depend on price. Though, the idea of Greta having a baby sister does amuse me QUITE a bit. We'll just have to see.
