Yesterday I went to this Beatles thing at the history center and it was pretty much the most ridiculous thing I've been to. There were over a thousand people there and according to the history center they haven't had those kinds of number in years~ I won some hot sauce for playing Beatles rockband and I met the guy that took all of these pictures of the Beatles in Minnesota and he signed my book. He was a really nice guy and talked to me for awhile even though there were 584957934857934 people behind me waiting to get their books signed too. There was also a Beatles cover band performing (I think they were called Retro Fit or something idk) and even though they made no effort to look like the Beatles (although there was a guy in the crowd dressed as Sgt. Pepper's Ringo) they sounded pretty good. I didn't have time to stay for the whole thing so I only heard them perform 'If I Needed Someone', 'Day Tripper', and 'And Your Bird Can Sing'.
I also bought a pretty awesome holographic Yellow Submarine poster~
