(no subject)
The decision has been made: we're going to Indiana to visit my parents on Tuesday.
This isn't really a bad thing. I love my parents... really, T likes them well enough, and we don't see them very often. But it's always a little weird going back there. The culture shock between Chicago and Bedford is measured in decades, not years. It's just... hard.
On the upside, we got a hotel in Bloomington, which is convenient for the 'we need to get away' factor, as well as being home to the restaurants we miss (except for the W.G. Grinders, but that's kinda on the way).
On the downside, Wednesday is T's birthday, and while I'm sure she has no problem spending it in the car with me, but the Indiana portion of it... probably not her first choice. Got to find a way to make this work out for the happy, preferably without a casino.
