(no subject)
1. Back at home! Watch this journal for a detailed entry about the debacle of trying to fly on the first non-weekend day of Spring Break, and for the joys that followed our diligence! I even throw in some sidebars about the industry, conveniently cut if you don't want to read the rest of it. Ain't I a sweetheart? :-)
2. It's Shepherd's Pie day at the Atlantic! But we're done with being out, so we ordered Pizza Hut instead. Obviously, 'Chicago elitist' doesn't translate into 'Chicago-style elitist'.
3. A while back, I did either a post or a comment about my job... what it entails, the processes, reasons, logic, problems... etc. All the fun stuff that no one notices. But, I can't find it. It would come in really handy right now, as I need to link it to rantingranger... he asked about it over dinner last night, and I didn't go into as much detail as I really wanted. But, I don't want to type it all out again unless I have to. If you can find it and link me (us) to it, you'll win a prize. I'm not sure exactly what the prize will be, but it'll be something you'll want. Like cookies or a mix cd or an autographed picture of my cat. Help me!
3a. You might be asking about the dinner thing. That's in the super-detailed post that I mentioned in #1. The dinner portion is not super-detailed, because I wrote it while I was on the plane and I was getting a little sleepy. Ask for more details if you want them. Or just wait until I volunteer them. I'm sure I'll do a follow-up at some point.
