1. It's good to have a couple days off. A chance to rest and recharge... a chance to do household chores... a chance to meet with non-work friends for beer and wings. A chance to play silly games all night and sleep all day. Oops.
2. Someone, tell T that she ought to leave the apartment once or twice while she's back in the city. Even the weather is offering its own subtle encouragement, but her continued response is, "No thanks, I'm staying in." It's depressing.
3. January is a three payday month. So, why is my bank account empty?
4. My recap of the Robbie show just got a lot shorter, since I erased the text messages with the setlist. *facepalm* Robbie always seems to bring something new to his shows, but I found that, after being blown away by the spare, duet show in Northampton, the full band show didn't offer as much magic as I'd hoped. He played some of the songs I'd been wanting to hear, left us scratching our heads a couple of times, and continued his tradition of letting the band go nuts mid-song. It was a good show, but not his best. The Year in Review 2007 was entertaining, and Mike's College of Musical Knowledge was mostly funny, but overall, the show seemed a little strained.
