[See Klavier...he's fast asleep on a long and broad red couch, he's probably so much cuter asleep than when he's awake. It looks to be the middle of the day, an unusual time for sleeping, but he is out cold and he's not the most interesting thing on the couch. No, peeking out from underneath Klavier's hand where it is very content and warm is this

[In the spirit of rooting for the home team, Greed is cheering Vongole on, in a hushed voice as if actually in the room and trying not to wake him.] Go on! Get it, boy, get it! You can take him!

[After a some staring...more whimpering...more staring...and some encouragement from Greed, Vongole sticks his nose up there and starts giving the little creature a bath. The little creature wiggles out from under Klavier's hand and takes off landing right on Vongole's back. What happens next? Vongole starts spinning around and around and around in circles as Klavier sleeps on...for now.]

[Greed is, at first, bored. He expected something a bit more... energetic than cute. Once it takes off, Greed is still whispering but with a full physical reaction, flailing back and then pointing at the screen.] Ho-ly shit, it flies!

Oi, you're just making yourself look like an idiot, now! Wrong kind of spinning! Roll over, roll!

[Roll? Roll? No one ever taught him how to roll...Kristoph only taught him the practical things like sit, lay, and fetch. Vongole starts bucking around like a bull, but the little creature is still hanging on with it's little hand-like claws.

After a second or two Vongole runs into a table startling the creature into action again. It starts gliding around the room from one spot to the next. Vogole follows it closely hopping up and down until the little guy finally glides onto the screen where it's now face to face with Greed.

It's followed by Vongole a second later who is then followed by Klavier who stops Vogole right before the retriever has the chance to knock the computer over.]

Nein...down Vongole!

[Greed is pretty sure the team he was rooting for lost this round. It's like watching the remaining players of a poker hand after folding. Once Vongole runs into the table, Greed slinks back against the couch with a sigh, embarrassed for the dog. At least there's the promise of property destruction.]

What's up? [It's not really clear if he's dryly greeting Klavier or the animal whose face is so prominent in the video.]

Come on...good boy...lay down...[Klavier finally manages to pry Vongole off of the table where he obediently curls up on a rug still watching the creature that quickly leaps onto and attaches itself to Klavier.

Once Klavier finally notices Greed's face on his computer he has to do a double take...he just woke up after all.] Herr?

[He could explain that the video was on, but that would require Greed to provide simple, useful and obvious information freely and and without complications or headaches. Instead, he gives a two fingered wave.] Morning.

Morning [Is it still morning? Rubs at his eyes with the back of his hand and as he does the little creature takes the opportunity to climb into his shirt causing Klavier to do this funny little jerk before going in after it.] A...ah...how long have you been there, Herr?

[Regardless of the hour, he's extremely self satisfied with catching Klavier vulnerably sleeping, confused, and now being lovingly assaulted by some friendly flying... thing.] Don't worry about bein' asleep on me, I was entertained.

I can't see how unless you find sleeping people entertaining. [Klavier finally manages to scoop it out from under his shirt. Reaching over the back of the couch he grabs a pullover hoodie and manages to wriggle into it before letting the little creature climb into one of the pockets.] So I guess something happened while I was sleeping that entertained you, huh?

Something happening sounds more likely than me bein' entertained by watchin' a high class lawyer sleep on a couch with a flying rat. If yer still tired, I can let'cha go back to that.

Hn...looks down at his pocket where there is a curled up lump] Oh...Viola...she's not a flying rat...she's a gliding marsupial...like...like...kangaroos...koalas...and opossums. So...what did happen?

Think I'd rather have flying rats than flying opossums. They're vicious little fuckers. Could've been a blood bath right there on on top of yer magic fingers. Which could've been more fun, now that I think about it...

Well fortunately this little girl isn't a opossum...she's a sugar glider and she's bonded to me so she won't bite me. I'd rather be nipped at by her than a rat.

Sugar glider? Sounds more like some kinda toy that should come with kid's candy. How many pets do you keep, anyway?

Well it makes sense, sugar gliders glide and they like sweet things.

Pets? For the time being I only have two, Vongole was my brother's retriever and Viola is a birthday gift.
