Anti-Girls Night
So all week we've been hearing talk about Girls Night tonight. Usually, this simply means that the girls get together and have fun while the guys sit at home not knowing what to do without half the group. This time, however, Billy and I planned in advance to have fun without them. As it turns out, we couldn't recruit any other trouble makers for a variety of reasons, but as it turns out they weren't required either although more would have been better. So what are two guys to do in Athens on a Friday night? Drive to Gainesville of course. We elected to head to my Dad's house to play pool. It was a lot of fun in a semi-random way. For the record, I totally kicked Billy's ass at pool. Yes, he had a rough night. There was some luck there. Anyway, it was cool, and we have some plans in the works for next time the girls abandon us, so the rest of the guys should join us then.
Once we got back to Athens, the girls allowed us to join them for the last few reasonable hours of the night until everyone got tired. All in all, it was a good night.
No, I don't have any great insights for ya'll today. You'll just have to settle for the knowledge that I've had two good nights in a row, and tomorrow has the potential for a third. Just think how much fun I'd have if I took up drinking! I'd fail out of school...
