I apologize for being rather delinquent in my posting of late. It is so easy to ignore the impulse to put thought into a post by just doing those little quiz things. As for the rant that I promised, it is in the works on the topic of a woman's right to choose. I suppose I could do it now, but I don't feel I'm sufficiently angry at the moment to effectively mock the intellectual and cultural vacuum that is conservatism.
I spent the last few days back in my thrilling hometown. Most of the civilized world had their spring break this past week, so I went back to visit with a few people who are seldom available. Granted, I missed out on some good old fassion Athens fun, but that is much easier to come by than a day with Jessica and Leslie. Why these two people don't just come to UGA, I'll never know. Well, one of them hopefully is, so that will make everything better.
Much of my time over the last week has been donated to my alter ego as the fictitious Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. This simulation class is a lot of fun, but the simulation itself is proving to be more work than expected. I have to deal with a lot of stupid people who don't seem to realize what a pain in the ass it is for me to have to sit around Athens and wait to hear from them so I can send out a press release and go home. Still, I'm loving it, and I'm looking forward to preventing the fake Republicans from getting their missile defense system.
Did I leave anything out? Probably. Just ask. I don't know what else I'm supposed to write about.
