It sure is hot in here. Even if I had two electric fans directed at me at full blast and I wore the thinnest sleeveless shirt I have in my closet, I'm still drenched in sweat as if I had just ran a mile.
Anyway, I'm here to talk about my latest watching and reading adventures starting this morning. I woke up at 8am, opened the TV, set the channel on Animax, and was depressed to find out that I'd missed the first aired episode (episode 22) of La Corda D'Oro Primo Passo. After the last episode, which was also the last episode of primo passo (episode 26), was aired, I was overcome with this huge longing to have the second episode of secondo passo to be finally released. But, unfortunately, I still have to wait until June and hope that Andrea doesn't forget to inform me about it. Or perhaps, I'd just have to keep an eye on mangafox for the latest La Corda D'Oro manga issues.
Then, I read another book of Paulo Coelho (You see, I'm not an avid fan! Haha. I'm actually aiming to finish reading all his published novels as of this date.). This time, it's The Devil and Miss Prymm, a novel of tempatation. Not as exciting as Eleven Minutes since I fell asleep twice as I was reading it, but definitely as enlightening. It deals with the question "Is man naturally good or evil?". In the end, man is actually good AND evil. He actually has the choice to pick between the two opposing forces.
And now, I'm deciding whether to read again (for the third time, I guess) the fifth book of the Harry Potter series (Order of the Phoenix) or to read my module in Statistics. And mind you, I really am in a tough situation right now. The temptation of enjoying myself is really great, since I still insist on the fact that I should have been spending my summer vacation at this moment under the shade of huge tree beside our house in Juban, with a nice book in my hands. Oh, but I should study. Because tomorrow's the end of the wonderful first weekend of my summer classes and I'm still a student.
A student who's not on vacation, anyway.
