My Journal [Video]
[An eight-and-a-half year-old Miles is seen at the computer, holding the mouse and looking intently at the screen, and an unsuspecting Miyamoto Kazushi and Tomochika Kenji in the background. Apparently, this was a rather impromptu journal.]
These big kids told me that the ladies who run the island camp don't want me to get on the internet while I'm here. I'm worried about Gelert, but I guess he'll be okay. Nick knows my password, so I bet if he notices he's getting hungry, he'll feed him for me.
[Miles looks happier now that this has come to mind.]
They said we're supposed to make journals instead. I guess that's okay.
[Miles pauses for a moment, and then looks behind his shoulder. His voice is muffled as he speaks away from the camera.]
Hey, what's your names? You know mine but I don't know yours.
[He turns back to the video after they respond.]
Ka... Kazu...
[He turns back to them again.]
Okay, you're Kaz, and you're Ken. I'm Miles.
[He turned back, pleased that that was all settled. He leans forward a bit and lowers his voice, although it is very likely the two can still hear him speak.]
These two are alright. The one with the red hair is kind of annoying and says really weird things to Kaz. Kaz is nice though. He made me feel better even though Father is away.
[He leans back, grinning.]
Kaz said there's a pool. I haven't been swimming yet so I'm excited! I think I'll ask if we can go soon.
