About a month ago I rescued a baby snake, from a single parent and young child. Parent bought the snake about 2-3 months ago. I'd like to happily report that Bellamy the Red rat snake readily gulped down a couple of pinkies today, after his shed. :) Now he is currently hanging out in his feed box before I put him back into his cage. Its so nice to see those pinkie lumps!

today I purchased a little scale to see what Bellamy weighs. Didn't work out too well because the battery in the scale is dead. So one of my cats managed to open the freezer door last night and everything thawed/melted. I had two gallon bags of adult mice and 3/4 of a bag of pinkies in there.
