Not a sad story anymore! So glad you ended up with Apollo-- and that he ended up with you. He's beautiful! I love BRB's. On the One Day list...

I'm impressed that you managed to end up with a corn with an attitude problem! I've heard of a few, but only personally known one, and he had an excuse. (He was a foster, and came from A Bad Home TM.) Must ask, though-- are you sure Xerxes is a bloodred? I don't see any diffusion yet. But they do have the reputation of worse-than-usual temperaments for corns. My bloodred girl isn't aggressive, but she is very, very timid. (My pewter boy's awesome, though.)

Also, OMG exploring royal! That pic of Leonidas slithering about on the window frame reminds me of one of my carpet pythons. That photo is an awesome rebuttal against the argument that royals are always boring and don't really do anything. I kind of love that snake just from the picture!

Yes, if memory serves me correctly he is a bloodred. I think he may have some sunkissed somewhere in there as well. He was very brown at first, now he is a beautiful sunset color with a lot more color changing to go. When I was looking him over the breeder even told me he was going to be a feisty one, but I didn't listen because its a corn snake and everything I read about them placed them as teddy bears. Boy was the breeder right!

And yes, leonidas is quite the poster child for ball pythons. Whenever I take him into work to visit my coworkers, it ends up being a 2 hour ordeal because he has so many fans!

Is his belly clear, or are there checkers?

Checkered, was white but is now turning orange.

Then he's probably only het blood, because the bloodred morph is one of the ones with clear bellies. Still cute, though!
