I got myself a bearded dragon on saturday at the local reptile show. I've gotten quite a few leopard geckos from this breeder already and knew I'd be getting my dragon from him as well (nick@justlizardsinc). He's a little over 4 weeks old and should be a really nice red dragon. Might not be hold back quality, but top quality. He's already showing ( Read more... )

take a ton of pictures because they grow FAST (and eat like garbage disposals!). soon he's going to be a big chubby guy with popeye arms, and his head won't look like an alien's :) i love baby beardie faces because they're all so odd looking and cute haha

i take at least one pic of him every day, they sleep in the funniest positions! He is so much more entertaining than all my other herps (shh, don't tell them that).

I love his fat little head, its like a bobble head.

you should do one of those "picture a day" youtube videos of his first year or something! that would be awesome to watch. i love when they sleep standing up with their bellies against the glass. i got mine a hammock and i love looking over and seeing:

I still remember the time QC was flat on the ground...but with his chin pressed firmly and vertically against the side of the glass. I couldn't imagine the crick in his neck in the morning!

awww thank you so much! I think he's pretty handsome too :) The picture in my icon is one of my favourites of him- he looks like a little bartender. I woke up one day and he was just waiting like that for me!

no, I actually put it on his cold side because his basking side has a bunch of branches and things already. It did take him a little while to notice it, but now he sleeps in it all the time :)

Yours does too?! I didn't know if it was just a thing mine did, or all of them did. Sometimes, he's half hanging off the tree he's got, or sleeping with his belly against the glass.
So adorable<3
